By the time you read this, I might be on the Moon Goddess's side. I want you to know that I love you so much, my daughter. I am sorry for leaving you like this. I must too. For your safety. Forgive me because I couldn't tell you the reason too here. I don't know these people. But I believe that this pack would help you.

That was the content of the next letter. Amelia was sobbing by the time she finished reading it. Her chest felt so hard that her breathing became hard too.
Why? Why does she feel like something bad happened to her birth parents? She never met them but she could feel how hard it must have been for them to leave her. Now, she couldn't blame them because whatever happened must have really endangered her.
But even though she read this, it still didn't answer her true identity. The first letter was for their Alpha. Her mother said that they were being hunted. Alpha Chase said that her parents didn't look like criminals or rogues. The clothes that were covering her as a baby were all one of a kind. Something a commoner or rogue couldn't afford. Even he was an Alpha.
“Now that you have already shifted, I understand why she had to leave you,” Amelia remembered Alpha Chase's words before she left. The twins were already outside. “Don't tell anyone that it was your natural hair. It's much better if you dye it black again. Don't show your beast form to others always,” he added.
Amelia asked him if there was something wrong with her beast. But Alpha Chase said only that it's much better for her not to learn about it. He was also worried because her mates were Princes. Then he asked her if she should stay here in the pack. She would be much safer here.
Now, Amelia was more confused. Why? What was wrong with her?
‘Don't cry anymore, Amelia. I understand you,’ said Lily. She was also sad about this news. And worried about their Alpha's note to her.
‘I don't understand, Lily. Why? Do you know what's wrong with us? You are beautiful. Why would I hide you from everyone?’
‘I don't know either. But I felt that we are much different than anyone, Amelia. Our blood smells different than our mates.’
‘They are royals. We are really different from them.’
‘No. It's not like that. I don't know how to explain it.’
‘It’s okay. Now I read our mother's letter. We should be very careful. Whatever happened eighteen years ago must be very dangerous for us.’
‘Yes. Stop crying now. I am here. I will always be with you from now on.’
Amelia nodded. She sniffed and tried calming herself. She should be strong and not let this get to her.
The next day, it was the appointed day of Nicolai as the next Alpha. Amelia and Bea pursued their plan on buying dresses for the celebration. Amelia tied up her hair and covered it with a hat. She wanted to be careful.
Amelia was holding tightly to Bea's arm like a child that would be lost anytime. She was afraid that it would happen. Her mates, the twins, just sent them to the human City and then went back to their pack village. They became busier than usual.
They were already inside the mall and looking for a boutique when Amelia saw a beauty salon.
“Bea. If I dye my hair now and shift to my beast. Will it be removed when I return to my human form?” she asked.
“Huh? No. We can dye our hair anytime and it will remain the same even when we shift. Why?”
Amelia smiled. “Come on.” She pulled Bea to the salon. “I want to dye my hair black again.”
Bea frowned at Amelia. “What? No! I love your new hair! Let's just style our hair but not dye it.”
“No. I need this. Plus, I'm not used to my red hair.”
“But you looked more beautiful though,” Bea insisted.
Amelia didn't want it either. But she must do it just to be careful as she still didn't know what Alpha Chase meant. They went inside the salon and pampered themselves. Bea had hair therapy. While Amelia asked them to dye her hair in black. They also did manicures and pedicures. Bea was delighted because she loved doing this stuff. Sometimes, she dolls up to Amelia. Mostly, Bea used her new make-up first.
When they finished at the salon, they continued looking for a boutique that the twins told them to go to. Not long ago, they saw it. They were immediately assisted by the staff. Bea chose one dress in fushia pink. It was sleeveless and a bit daring in front. It also had a slit on the right side. Amelia saw a plain red simple dress. A dress with long sleeves and a v-cut chest. It also had a slit on the right side. But the staff asked her to choose the black color since the twins had the same color. So, Amelia agreed. They also brought new stilettos with the same color as their dresses.
When they were done, they went home. Amelia texted the twins that there was no need for them to fetch them because they were riding the bus. Luckily, Amelia's bullies were not there. They had a peaceful ride at home.
“Yiee! I'm excited later! I'm sure that Vera would be jealous of you!” Bea laughed. “But I'm still sad that you had to dye your hair in black.”
Amelia smiled. “It's okay, Bea. I'm more happy with my hair in black. Having red hair feels like everyone's eyes are on me. And you know I didn't like that.”
“Yeah. Yeah. By the way, have you talked with Alpha Chase already? Marcus said that you already talked with him. Do you know your parents now?”
“Ahm. No. Apparently, my family's pack was attacked by rogues. for sure they're dead already,” Amelia lied.
“Oh, I'm sorry. I shouldn't ask.”
“It's okay. Plus, I didn't meet them after all. It sucks, yes. But I guess Moon Goddess has her reasons.”
“Yes. And we are here for you. We are your family now.”
Amelia looked at Bea. “Thank you, sister.”
“Hmm… I love that!”
They both giggled. After they fixed their things. Amelia decided to make a run to the woods first. The ceremony will start later at midnight. It was still seven and she will meet her mates later at nine. Amelia shifted to her beast and let Lily run. She stopped when she reached the river. It was just under the cliff where she almost fell. Where she met Blue.
Amelia shifted back to her human form. She was alone as she presumed so she did not mind if she was naked.
“My hair is still black. Bea was right,” she said happily.
‘But you are gorgeous in red hair either. Too bad we need to hide it.’
Amelia sighed. She crouched and touched the cold water. “I know. I hope we get answers soon. I feel bad for you. I don't want to hide–”
Amelia stopped when she heard a snapping sound of dried leaves and wood. It was like someone was stepping on it. She stood up and went back to her beast form.
Lily growled as she waited for the steps nearing her. Her claws went out and were ready to attack. But Lily stopped as she smelled the familiar scent.

‘Nicolai?’
Lily waited for Nicolai to show him. And she was right. There she saw the big black wolf growling at her. But he immediately turned back to his human form.
‘What should I do?’ Lily asked.
‘It's okay.’
Amelia went back to her human form. But realizing she was naked. Her eyes widened and screamed at Nicolai.
“Turn around!” she asked. But she realized too that there was no way that Nicolai would follow her. So she immediately looked for something to cover herself. She saw a big leaf just exactly for her to cover her private parts. Amelia looked at Nicolai again and she was surprised that he turned away from her.
‘Weird,’ Amelia thought.
“Y-You can find something to cover yourself too… if you want,” she said.
Nicolai turned himself back to Amelia. He did not mind his nakedness and stared at her face only. Amelia then tried her best not to look down.
“Ahm. I-I was just looking around,” Amelia said. She doesn't know what to do or say. Not because she was still affected by Nicolai. But because it was Nicolai! Her first mate. The one who rejected her. “I-I should go-”
“No.”
“Huh?”
Nicolai cleared his throat and stepped forward to Amelia. “I kind of followed you here. I mean, my… wolf could still feel you.”
Amelia remained silent. She just stared at Nicolai, who was one step away from her already. He looked different now. In particular, the way he stared at her was different. It was more of adoration and desire. That was confusing for Amelia because if there was one person in their pack that hated her most, it was him.
“I was stupid, Amelia. I shouldn't have rejected you.”
“I don't understand you, Nicolai. What do you mean?”
“I know you have already found your second chance, mate. Mates to be exact.”
Nicolai sighed and looked away. He doesn't know how to say it but he must. He couldn't forget her since that night when he realized he still felt the bond. At first, he thought it was because his wolf pitied her. But he was wrong. He liked Amelia after all. He covered his feelings by letting his friends bully her. He wanted to forget that he wanted Amelia because he couldn't have a Luna like her. A wolf less Luna. Now that everyone knew what she really was. He must take his chances.
“But can't you still feel it, Amelia? Have you forgotten me already?”
Amelia blinked her eyes fast. She didn't know how to process what Nicolai had just told her. Didn't he reject her? Didn't he want her to go away from their pack?
“A-Are you playing with me? Was this part of your prank on me?” Amelia sniffed and looked around. “Where are your friends?”
“No. Amelia. They are not here. I'm alone. I was strolling in the woods. I shifted because the moon was already out. The. He smelled your scent. We can still feel you, Amelia.”
Amelia laughed. At first, it was silent as she was trying to control herself. But she couldn't contain it seeing that Nicolai looked like he was ready to beg for something.
“You know what? I'm done, Nicolai. You wouldn't dare to bully me again. I wouldn't hesitate to fight you,” she warned. Her claws came out.
Nicolai sighed again. “I must've hurt you that much. I'm sorry, Amelia. Please. I know you can still feel me. You still feel the bond-”
“No!” Amelia raised her voice. She glared at Nicolai and pointed her finger at him. “Do you know how much it affected me, huh? Nicolai, being your mate was my last hope to be accepted into this pack! Being your mate gave me hope to accept myself! But you snatched it away from me because you think I am not capable of being your Luna! Then you are coming at me saying that you still feel the bond? Are you crazy?”
“Yes, Amelia! I am! It's haunting me! I know you have found your new mates. But you can still feel me, right? I'm still there, right?” Nicolai held Amelia's hands and tried pulling her. But Amelia pushed her away.
“You are wrong, Nicolai! You're not here anymore. My mates marked me already. They are the only ones in me now!” she screamed at him. But to her surprise, Nicolai suddenly kneeled in front of her.
“P-Please, Amelia! Take me again. I am your first mate, after all! Be my Luna!”
Amelia scoffed and shook her head. “You are unbelievable, Nicolai. I can’t believe that you are this selfish!”
Amelia turned away and was ready to run. But Nicolai suddenly held her hand and pulled her to him. Amelia was stunned and her eyes widened. She instantly felt the spark when she felt his skin to hers. She growled angrily and pushed him. Her claws went out and her fangs too.
“Don’t touch me! Don’t you dare do it again!” she warned.
“Amelia, please! I know that you felt it too!”
“Huh?! No!” she lied. But her heart skipped when she smelled him again. She didn’t know why it was possible because she already had her mates. Plus, he had rejected her already. “It’s too late, Nicolai! Too late, okay?! I, Amelia White–”
“N-No, Amelia, please!”
“I, Amelia White, reject you, Nicolai Green, as my mate and to whatever bond you with me! Whether you accept it or not!” Amelia shouted. She shifted to her beast form and growled, then howled at him. Then she growled again angrily and ran away from Nicolai.
Nicolai felt his heart torn into pieces. He froze as he watched Amelia’s beast fade from his eyes. For the first time in his life, he cried in pain. He knew that it would be impossible for Amelia to accept him. After what he did to her, he could feel how much she hated him. He shifted and howled in pain. He was a fool in rejecting Amelia. Now he will take the burden until the day he dies. If he could just bring back time, he would not reject Amelia.
Chapter 13: Their First Night...
Amelia went home to their house instead of her twin's room at the pack house. She couldn't believe that Nicolai had the guts to do it! How could he? After, what did he do to her? She was in the dark pit for two years because he rejected her! And thought that she would crawl back to him? Just because he could still feel the bond?
No way!
“Amelia. Be ready. The ceremony will start soon,” said Bea. She was in the kitchen when she smelled her scent.
But Amelia did not answer and continued walking to her room. She almost slammed the door and lay down on her bed.
Bea frowned and looked up when she heard the door. “What happened to her?” she whispered while shaking her head.
Back to Amelia’s room. She was grunting in anger. Her claws kept coming out. She still couldn’t believe Nicolai's actions. He must really think of her that low.
‘Come on now, Amelia! You should let him see that you are not like what he thinks!’ Lilian said.
Amelia sighed and sat down. She calmed herself by inhaling and exhaling. “The twins shouldn’t know about this.”
‘Right. You know how angry they are with Nicolai.’
She couldn’t even imagine what the twins would do if they learned about what Nicolai did. Amelia decided to clean herself. How could Nicolai even think of doing it on the night of his appointment? Amelia shook her head.
“Let’s forget about him.”
Amelia prepared herself for the celebration. Bea helped her change and fix her makeup. She doesn’t know how to apply herself. Amelia was a bit nervous. It will be her first time attending an event from their pack. Especially since it was the appointment of Nicolai. After their encounter earlier, she was hoping that everything would be okay later.
After fixing themselves, Marcus went to Bea and went to the packhouse first because they needed to help there. While Amelia waited for her mates because they said that they would get her instead. She was in her room when she felt the twins' presence outside of their house. Amelia immediately went out of her room and opened their door. She was stunned to see the two gentlemen staring directly at her. They looked handsome with their silver hair reflecting the lights.
“Are you ready?” asked Blue.
Amelia nodded. “Y-Yes.”
“You looked dashing, Amelia,” said Grey.
Amelia looked down as she felt her cheeks go hot. “T-Thank you.”
“Maybe… they could wait, right?”
“I think so.”
Amelia looked at them again. She suddenly felt tension inside the room when she saw them staring at her with their amused eyes. She couldn’t see any lust in it, but she felt that they were asking something of her. She gulped and forced a smile.
“What do you two mean?”
Both of them posted a smile and went inside the house. Blue closed the door as Grey approached her. Amelia stepped backward in confusion. But Grey had already grabbed her by the waist and pulled her closer. She put her hands on his chest.
“Can we?”
“Ah— Ah. I-I don’t know.”
‘Just say yes, Amelia!’ Lily said in her mind.
Amelia gulped as she realized what they meant now. Though she knew that they would ask for this sometimes, she was still not used to it. But she closed her eyes when Grey slowly pulled his head closer to hers. She waited until she felt his soft kiss claiming hers. At her back, she felt Blue already touching her stomach and pushing his body into hers too.
She was kissing them back and forth. When one was on her lips, the other was on her neck. Amelia felt her body burning because of the sensation she was feeling. It was her first time feeling this. She could feel Grey’s and Blue’s hands all over her body. She didn’t hesitate to touch them at first. She forgot her make-up and decided to let herself forget.
Amelia didn’t know how they went to her room. But the next thing she remembers, the twins were in front of her and she was lying in the bed. Grey and Blue were removing their clothes as they stared at her with burning desire. She gulped as she saw them remove their pants.
‘That’s huge!’

Her eyes widened as he/she gazed at their perfect abs. She often saw packmates without any upper body definition, but the princes were different. She felt blessed to be able to see them.
